Although muscle control and coordination are the core features of cerebral palsy, there may also be other neuro-developmental challenges and associated conditions that make everyone’s condition unique. At Ace Human Services we put you and your family first, providing as much or as little help as needed to maintain your loved one’s independence, dignity and self-esteem while supplying them with support and care they need. It’s not our intention to replace caring family and friends, but to provide help and relief to committed family caregivers.
Our goal is your peace of mind about the quality of services your loved one is receiving; this is only possible by employing outstanding caregivers. We invest in rigorous screening before we hire our caregiver employees. You can trust our dependable and well-trained caregivers to provide compassionate and experienced care to your loved one. It all starts with trust and confidence, and our caregivers are bonded and insured. Our caregivers, known as direct support persons, usually have a certified nursing assistance certification.
Our direct support persons are able to provide complex personnel care, support, encouragement and supervision of a child or adult either in the home or with community inclusion activities. Personal care can include: bathing, dressing, transfer assistance and feeding. Community inclusion activities can include getting a haircut, being involved in a community program, watching or participating in sports, leisure activities, and visiting friends. Proving a supportive and caring environment is essential either in the home or out in the community.
